Back from Warsaw. Proud to take a part in the important struggle to save the house on 14 Waliców Street, one of the last remains of the Warsaw Ghetto. The city of Warsaw is currently discussing a proposal to destroy the building. Israeli and Polish activists joined to fight for preserving that historical building. The highlight was a concert of El Hameshorer band, dedicated to the poems of the Jewish-Polish poet Władysław Szlengel, who was born, raised and wrote in the House at 14 Waliców Street and got killed during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
