I gave a talk at the Dreams, Phantasm and Memories conference in Gdańsk. I’ve talked about the hallucinatory journey of consciousness, experienced by Jewish writer Yehiel De-Nur (“KaTzetnik”) during psychiatric treatments with the drug LSD, in the Netherlands, in 1976. Gdańsk is a beautiful city with a fascinating history: WWII broke out here. Communism began to crash in local shipyards. The Solidarity center, located in the shipyards and tells the story of communism in Poland and its collapse is one of the most interesting museums I’ve ever visited. WWII museum represents deals with the Holocaust and claims regarding the Poles that “Many people remained indifferent” because they were afraid they will be punished or killed, “Some did not conceal their satisfaction that the Jews are being hunted. Some turned them in, killed them and stole their property” "Some" rescued.
הרציתי בכנס Dreams, Phantasm and Memories בגדנסק על אודות הטיפול הפסיכיאטרי תחת ל.ס.ד שעבר ק.צטניק בהולנד בשנות השבעים. גדנסק היא עיר נמל יפיפייה עם היסטוריה מרתקת: מלחמת העולם השניה פרצה כאן. התרסקות הקומוניזם בפולין החלה מהמספנות בעיר. מרכז סולידריות שהוקם כדי לספר על הקומוניזם ונפילתו וממוקם במספנות הוא אחד המוזיאונים המרהיבים והמעניינים ביותר שהייתי בהם. מוזיאון מלחמת העולם השניה מציג נרטיב לפיו הטרור הגרמני פגע בכל האוכלוסיה. בנוגע לשואה: בקרב הפולנים שררה אנטישמיות. "חלק" הצילו "הרבה" היו אדישים. הם חששו לעזור ליהודים כי פחדו שיענשו או יוצאו להורג. "חלק" היו שבעי רצון שיהודים נרדפו . "חלק" הסגירו יהודים, הרגו אותם וגנבו , "חלק" הצילו
