The Beyond Camps and Forced Labour Conference was fascinating. I enjoyed listening to the various speakers who dealt with cinema, witnesses and contemporary perceptions of testimonies. I've talked about the drastic change in Holocaust survivors' representations from the 1940s until the present. The presenters were invited to the Austrian Ambassador house for a dinner reception (I was the only one in jeans…) Even had a chance to catch a glimpse of marvelous wintry London
